I knitted a red teddy (forever known as RedTed) at junior school and loved him to bits ... until I came home from school one day and saw that mommy had performed surgery on him after he was ravaged by the pet Corgi! Still have my beloved RedTed (I'm now 51!!!!!) and he still bears the scars ... mommy was no plastic surgeon! I still have a stuffed toy from when I was a baby (over 40 years ago) and it has been stiched and restitched to keep it alive. Like the cards and I admire your 'less is more' theme. We had to search the net to get a standby Baxter for my little grandee in Germany, who has leukaemia, so it could be washed frequently (due to her lack of immunity) and it was Twiglet who so kindly found one for us. It took a lot of washing before she accepted the stand in and now he is Big Baxter as he hasn't shrunk as much as Baxter No 1.
Love your artwork,
Love JoZarty xJoZart Designshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15197690337080094062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4909033916028383818.post-32411588953710657562011-11-02T09:59:15.510+00:002011-11-02T09:59:15.510+00:00Oh the aggers of surgery on the best loved toy...o...Oh the aggers of surgery on the best loved toy...or daring to wash it..
