Poor Alex isn’t sleeping well at the moment and I am not really sure why. Sometimes he is waking up due to a coughing fit, but mostly it doesn’t seem to be related to anything in particular. As a result the poor little thing is exhausted and inclined to be miserable. When he was particularly tired one day Tim showed him some video clips of stunt cars on You tube and ever since then Alex has been fascinated by the idea. We have started racing his toy cars across the kitchen floor and watching them cope with little obstacles or crash into the wall. He also thinks it’s one of the funniest things to see Tim or myself throw ourselves across the room and crash into the wall pretending to be a stunt car. This photo is of him watching us do this and laughing helplessly at it. All good fun!
I have been continuing with my Christmas cards this week (thereby following the challenge from Spoonful of Sugar) having made another two following different sketches. Both cards fit with the theme of ‘Snow buddies’ from My Time to Craft, with this first card featuring Santa on Skates. This card also followed this week’s sketch from Sketch and Stash. I used very old patterned paper (free with a magazine about 2 years ago!), and my new Cuttlebug embossing folder and ribbon. The second card follows the sketch from CPS and the theme of animal antics from Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge…I guess you could say that the deer is also a ‘snow buddy’ as it is bounding across the snowy landscape. In both cards the scene is coloured with Chalks and highlighted with Sakura stardust. I hope that you all have a great weekend,
