WOYWW 474

Another week has flown by and it is time for a nosey round each others desks courtesy of Julia.

My desk is looking remarkably tidy - well sort of (for me!) - you can at least see space for crafting but everything else is piled up round the edges.  The truth is I need some more storage for my crafting goodies - it has been promised, but I need to clear the study in order to re-decorate and then put up the new furniture.  Needless to say full-time work, caring duties and Mummy duties mean that time to do this is at a premium, but all being well it will happen at some point this year!
This is a birthday card I made for my sister-in-law who loves elephants.  The rest of my crafting this week has been more index cards for the ICAD challenge (index card a day) which I am really enjoying at the moment. Here are a few I have done this week...

And just to finish, the sun is so lovely that we are making the most of it.  Here is Alex at our local paddling pool, snorkelling in about 6-8 inches of water LOL!

I hope you are all enjoying the sun.  Have a great week.
Love
Caro

What a lovely birthday card. Looks like your desk is ready for more action.

I LOVE your ICADs. I love the colors and the sentiments. I post mine every Monday. I only share them on my blog, since I am not a part of any other social media site. Happy WOYWW from #1.

At least everything is close at hand! When you have storage, you have to remember where you put everything and keep getting up to get them LOL! Sometimes I just can't be bothered, so I just use whatever I can find on my desk! Great index cards - You're really keeping up with that challenge. I'm thinking of doing the 100 day challenge next year, perhaps on tea bags, but I know I will flake out when the time comes! Great snorkeling - at least he's not out of his depth! Thanks for visiting my blog! Happy July 4th! zsuzsa #26

Hi Caro, I don't think we ever have enough storage when you're crafting as stuff just builds up. I have tried giving some older stamps and papers away that I know I wont use but still don't seem any better off space wise. I'm with Zsuzsa, trying to remember where the thing I need is kept can be difficult. Thanks for the visit to mine and wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x10x

Beautiful crafting from this week, especially that card for your sister-in-law. It's good to have things piled up at the edges of your desk ... they are to hand then. The way my desk is situated, it's not possible to do that. Thanks for sharing - Hazel WOYWW #15 x

Hi Caro, wish my desk looked as tidy as yours today - if wishes were fishes... Love the card with the elephants and your index cards are fab too. The photo of Alex snorkeling in 6" of water had me chuckling but it's a seriously good way of practicing. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #32

Hi Caro, how exciting ... craft room makeover! I was lucky to get mine done when I hadn't been crafting long, so not much to pack away! Have fun designing your new craft space! I love the elephant card! Thanks for stopping by earlier and have a lovely week Heather x #9

Love the idea of snorkeling in 6 inches of water, Caro! Taking advantage of every opportunity! Your desk does look very tidy. The elephant card is lovely - silhouettes are so effective, aren't they. Thank you for your visit, and your lovely comment - you are right about the kitties, there's never a dull moment when they are around! They are such fun. We've really fallen on our feet with these two. I'm glad you like the idea of the mug tree for tapes - we definitely have Margaret to thank for that - she's confirmed that she was the one who did it!

Happy WOYWW,

Good morning, Caro. That boy does look cool both in his snorkel and the water. Lovely cards. The elephant one is so serene. I did feel better yesterday. Started a deep clean in the studio but stopped when I felt my legs getting tired so I wasn't off kilter today. I have shopping to do :-) Creative Blessings! Kelly #29

Happy Belated WOYWW and thanks for your earlier visit. I was tempted to try bullet journaling, but the colour/designs of sticker/mixed media planners has just dragged me in! I can see why you are tempted by one of those journals. I Googled and they look fantastic. I can remember the days from my childhood of the joy of going to the town paddling pool. It was always sunny when we were children! Ali x #27
