WOYWW 504

Wow, the final Wednesday of January already so it must be time for another What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW) where we get to nosey round a variety of crafting desks.
Here is mine, still pretty neat, while I am updating my bullet journal.  On my desk you can see my journal, a Harry Potter sticker book, my kindle, some stamps, my tiny printer again, some stencils, paint water that really needs replacing and my nearly empty mug of tea.
I haven't had a huge amount of time for crafting this week, but I did complete this page in my art journal using up scraps that have been in my stash for 8 or more years!
We had a stunning sunset over the weekend that I just can't resist showing you (there is snow on the hills, but they are mostly hidden by the houses).  Update on Gran is that she was sent home from hospital with a chest infection and unable to breathe so she is now in respite care while they try and get that sorted out.  She is having physio and making slow but steady progress. However, she is scared to go home in case she can't cope overnight, so prayers for courage and wisdom as to when to go home would be good.
Have a great week everyone,
With love and God Bless,
Caro

Hi Caro, just refreshed one more time and caught your post. Hope your gran recovers from her chest infection soon and that her confidence hasn't been knocked too much. Love the scraps journal page. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

Hi Caro, she is much better off where she is until she's able to breathe comfortable. I've been in that 'can't breathe' situation a couple of times, and it's scary as hell. She should be much better once the chest infection clears. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX

Sending love to you and your gran - hope she is soon well - it must be really scary to have breathing probs. Lovely sunset Caro. It's been a glorious day here but forecast threatens snow overnight so I dashed out to shops once Ben had gone home. Keep cosy. xx Jo

Hi Caro, looks like you're ready for February! I used to have one of those enormous SportsDirect mugs but I had to get rid of it, as it wouldn't fit in the kitchen cupboards in our old house. That was before I got into crafting - I wouldn't get rid of it now - I would alter it! Hope Gran is going to recover soon. Thanks for stopping by earlier - have a lovely week! zsuzsa #20

Good afternoon, Caro. Thanks for your visit this morning. Continued prayers for you mom. At her age, this must all seem very confusing for her and frightening. Gentle hugs sent her way. Love your journal page. As cold as we are here, I had an Orchard Oriole at the feeder last night! Poor bird is going to freeze. Creative Blessings! Kelly #29

Hi Caro. The good thing about crafting is that you can leave it and come back to it when you have the time. Sending good wishes for your Gran too. Have a lovely creative week and a very happy WOYWW, Angela x15x

Lovely page in your journal and lots of delicious things on your desk today. Hope you can use the photograph of that beautiful sunset in a journal in the future.
Prayers for Gran, she is best being looked after but I hope she does gain her confidence again when it is time for her to go home.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Hi Caro. Lovely journal page - well done. I do trust your gran will regain confidence. I'm sure it is only natural to be uncertain about emergencies happening when on her own. I know how I felt nearly two weeks ago when my daughters had to go home after pampering me - but I have to say that three extra days by going over to Nottingham and staying with daughter number 1 was brilliant - then I was ready to be on my own.
Take care. God bless.

Sorr,y I’m late! I think any page with 8 year old scraps has to be a masterpiece, and in fact it looks great. I often wonder how you fit everything in, you lead such a busy life. Distressing to read to read about Gran being so poorly, I hope and actually am fairly sure that respite care will have her improving in no time.
