WOYWW 632

A brief hello and a very warm welcome to my blog and another edition of What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, the nicest blog hop in the world, hosted by the lovely Julia

This is my desk as it was on Sunday when i was playing and decorating some index cards, stencils, stamps, inks, pens and my trusty mug of tea.  That is the only crafting I have managed this week as work has gone crazy. Never mind, a little is better than none at all!

These are the 4 ICADs I made (I am now officially behind unsurprisingly!). I used a mixture of stencils and background stamps and the focal images are Dina Wakley stamps.

I have managed to swim about 5 times in the past week so all is well despite being busy... and I am enjoying my waterproof camera - we spent about 45 minutes in the water photographing these ducklings!

The big excitement of the week for me was a party!  14 of us met in a friends garden under a gazebo, shared food and danced to 80s music.  I cannot tell you how wonderful and hilarious it was! I will leave you with this rather daft photo of me unwinding after a stressful work day yesterday - not flattering but fun. Have a great week everyone and stay safe.

With love & God Bless,
Caro

Can't say which I like better, the lovely ICADS (who cares if you are behind? Story of my life...) or the triumphant mid leap photo! The duck are cute too, we had little ceramic ducks dressed as a bride and groom on our wedding cake and now people will insist on sending us ducks for any occasion. DOH!

Happy Desk Hopping!

Well it’s not unflattering Caro…any pic with your smile on show is a gorgeous one. So glad the waterproof camera is so useable, it must be nice not to have to worry too much about taking pics now. the pics of the ducks are just so sweet aren’t they. I a bit behind with FB but this morning caught your post about a five hour meeting. How hideous, sometimes you kind of think that the online thing isn’t helping….
Do you want me to write you a note?

Thanks for the ducky photos - so nice to see them all swimming about in the water - with you?
Fabulous icads - those backgrounds are so colourful and the images fit on them perfectly - a great combination.

Well done on at least managing to fit in some creative time, I hope now Summer is officially here you will get some more play time. Great ICADS, love the images. The party sounds fab, always a toe tap or a first pump from 80s music, I can just imagine the scene. Take care & Happy WoywW Tracey #9 x

Ha ha - love your photo Caro - it's that - "Works over - I'm free grin" isn't it! I hope things have calmed down at work - always seems to be a hectic time of year one way or another. Glad you found time for those lovely cards. xx Jo

Good Morning Caro, talk about birds eye view, I love the duck shots nearly as much as the celebratory view :) thanks for the smile, I am grinning from ear to ear. (love the colors of the girl cards too) ~Stacy #27

Fabulous index cards - they clearly belong to the same series - which I think is the key to keeping up with the challenges, so you don't have to come up with separate ideas for each. You got really close those ducklings - I wonder what they thought when they saw you swim next to them. Make sure they don't get imprinted on you LOL - following you around, thinking you're mother duck. No picture of you dancing? I would have liked to see that! Did you dress up in 80's style? Have fun this week, hopefully it will be less stressful now. xx zsuzsa #24

Love the colours in your ATC’s. Those ducklings are so sweet. I met someone else who goes river swimming, but she is not in your league. She only goes in the warmer months! Happy WOYWW Angela #7
