It's Wednesday again so time for me to show you my desk as part of Julia's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday blog hop.
Here it is in the chaos of making my final three index cards for the ICAD challenge (Index card a day). I totally failed to make one a day, but I have now managed to complete all 61 cards. For the final three I used distress oxides and inks, and ink pads, some Dina Wakley stamps, and Tim Holtz sayings. You can see my nearly finished mug of tea in evidence. Here are the final cards - a complete mixture of styles and every one of them taking 5 minutes or less (another challenge!)And this is all 61 on display. This is the third year I have done this challenge and really like working on this small scale - in normal years it is something I can keep up with. This year the shear amount of work I have had to do (while looking after Alex and Tim) has meant a lack of time for crafting so I am thrilled that I have managed to complete it finally.A post from me wouldn't be complete without some swimming photos. Alex joined me in the plunge pool twice this week (sensibly wearing a wetsuit because the water was 11oC) and we played some completely mad games of chase and King of the Castle on submerged rocks - pushing each other in. So much fun. That's all from me for now. My out of office is now on for another 6 days - we aren't doing anything exciting but I had some leave to use up and it is good to spend time with Alex before he goes back to school next Wednesday. Take care everyone and stay safe. With love & God Bless,
Caro

Great cards. SOmetimes its good to work fast and not think about it too much. Great swimming photos but brr that sounds a tad chilly. I am also popping by to say you won the giveaway from last week - yay! Can you confirm your snail mail to cashplant@yahoo.co.uk. Cheers!! Cindy xx

I am loving your Icads and you have certainly done very well completing all 61. They are all so different but look so effective in a big group.
It's lovely to see such joyful photos of you and Alex swimming - it certainly looks like great fun and healthy too - I expect it will feel strange for both of you when he goes back to school next week.
Hope you have a good week,
Diana xx #15
The icads are beautiful all together well done for doing them all eventually. Have a good week Helen #1
HI Caro, the ICADS are awesome, well done getting them finished. have a lovely 'break', it's going to feel odd I bet when Alex goes back to school!Always like to see your swim pics, you always look to be having so much fun. Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #3 X.
Wowzah, you finished the complete series of icad, that's an awesome job! I like seeing them all together, must be satisfactional (is that the right word?) to see and photograph this! Happy woyww, stay safe. Big hug from Holland, Marit #18
Wow, they look fantastic all laid out! It's always rewarding to complete a challenge, even if you couldn't follow the daily routine - it doesn't really matter. Funny, I used to find working on smaller scales more challenging and now I would find even the index cards too large! I do envy you for having that that natural swimming opportunity available where you live! It looks so enticing! Enjoy the rest of the summer - kids back in school next week - not sure how I feel about that! xx zsuzsa #20
Hi, Caro!
Thank you for the refreshing water pics! Wish I was there too! I’m exhausted! We have a leak in the basement and are trying to track it down. Lots of water damage and have to sort and toss! Even have been ripping up carpet... I’m exhausted!
Have a good week and Happy Wednesday! (No posts from me this week!)
What a fabulous variety of index cards!
Love the swimming photos. Such fun!
Have a great week!

Well done in completing those ICADS, I'm well impressed that you stuck with them. It's been great to see you and Alex having the time to spend together and I hope he enjoys his return to school. Wishing you a very happy week and a creative woyww, Angela x13x
Love your collection of cards. All so colourful. I read that you enjoy Bible Journaling which I do to. I’ve also started bullet journaling recently. It was good to see your journal. Thanks. Hugs, Sue #17
Your cards are beautiful. That is such a great challenge ~ I may have to try it next summer. I think it would be hard to stop when the time is up, but that's the point I guess. Wow a plunge pool that's cold ~ Hard to fathom when our bay temps are so warm in August 80'f in Virginia
Brilliant collection of ICads, I failed miserably this year, but there is always next year! Great pictures of you and Alex, so nice to share activities with him. Take care x Angela #29
Hope things don't change in the blogging world when Alex goes back to school. I'd miss you too much.
Love the iCads, so bright and colourful and how lovely the whole 61 look together. I will, hopefully and God willing, join in with the challenge next year also. Relying on you posting to remind me.
Stay safe and well
Blessings, Neet xx 7
So many gorgeous cards, Caro! You certainly have been busy with this challenge, and they look fabulous en masse. I love seeing your happy smiling faces in the swim photos. It's great that you've got such a lovely place nearby to go to. Thank you for your visit, and well spotted if you did find a mistake in my tiny carpet! There is more than one!! I'm going to redraw the design and try and get it right this time, in case I want to work it again. Fortunately the errors don't show up too much in reality. Glad you enjoyed the raspberry joke! I've never seen her laugh so much! She's a lovely neighbour who has become a good friend. I can identify with you popping as many blackberries in your mouth as in the bowl - I'd be the same! There have been so many that I don't suppose it makes too much difference if my hubby has had a few on the way! He brought another big bowl back today but said they'd mostly gone now. I pureed some today as they are pretty seedy to eat.
Happy belated WOYWW and God bless,
