WOYWW 695

Welcome back to my blog for another edition of what's on your workdesk Wednesday, the friendliest blog hop in the world, hosted by the lovely Julia.

This is my desk as it was late last night after I had caught up with diary writing etc.  You can see a cold, empty tea mug (very sad!), my three diaries (prayer journal, mini journal and bullet journal), pens, stickers and a box of tissues because I have the inevitable back to school cold courtesy of Alex!

I have been crafting this week, but can't show you as I have been working on something for the crop on Saturday so instead I thought I would share these photos taken on my lunch break yesterday. I am still enjoying my swimming but can't swim with this stinking cold sadly!

That's all from me for now.  I look forward to seeing some of you at the crop on Saturday (provided the tap in my nose stops dripping so I can drive safely!).

Take care of yourselves,

With love & God Bless,

Caro

Back from an absence! WOYWW 694

Hello and welcome back to my blog, which I am resurrecting after a long absence.  Life has been a little crazy and I simply havent had time to craft or blog, but I am hoping to make some changes to enable both to happen a little more regularly so I can join in with the wonderful What's on Your Workdesk blog hop hosted by the lovely Julia.

This is actually my desk at work in the medical school as I am in work today meeting the new cohort of medical students!  I am the lead for the personal tutoring scheme and will be giving the first lecture of the new academic year to the freshers this morning.

There has only really been one little bit of crafting in recent weeks and this was a diamond wedding anniversary card for a couple from my previous church.  I didn't have much in the way of appropriate colours, but was quite pleased with how the card turned out.

This has been quite the week for us in England as we shared in mourning our beloved Queen.  At church we had our chapel open most of the time with a book of remembrance for people to sign, and then I stayed glued to the television for most of Monday, heading out for a swim after the final service at Windsor. The water was so still and beautiful that it felt perfect after the day of mourning.

That's all from me for now. I hope to see some of you in Shrewsbury.

With love & God Bless

Caro
