A brief hello and a very warm welcome to my blog and another edition of What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, the nicest blog hop in the world, hosted by the lovely Julia

This is my desk as it was on Sunday when i was playing and decorating some index cards, stencils, stamps, inks, pens and my trusty mug of tea.  That is the only crafting I have managed this week as work has gone crazy. Never mind, a little is better than none at all!

These are the 4 ICADs I made (I am now officially behind unsurprisingly!). I used a mixture of stencils and background stamps and the focal images are Dina Wakley stamps.

I have managed to swim about 5 times in the past week so all is well despite being busy... and I am enjoying my waterproof camera - we spent about 45 minutes in the water photographing these ducklings!

The big excitement of the week for me was a party!  14 of us met in a friends garden under a gazebo, shared food and danced to 80s music.  I cannot tell you how wonderful and hilarious it was! I will leave you with this rather daft photo of me unwinding after a stressful work day yesterday - not flattering but fun. Have a great week everyone and stay safe.

With love & God Bless,
Caro

Hello and welcome back to my blog for another edition of What's on your workdesk Wednesday - the nicest blog hop in the world hosted by the lovely Julia.

Here is my desk in all its creative glory - confession time though- this was taken at the weekend when I had time to craft.  At the moment it is empty apart from my laptop and a mug of tea.  I was asked by someone last week how I managed to get it so tidy after crafting - the answer is necessity as I am still working from home so my craft desk becomes my work desk during the day. Not ideal but I make it work. Anyway, in this picture you can see various ink pads, ephemera, index cards in the process of being decorated as part of ICAD (index card a day) challenge, stamps and my mug of tea.

These are the index cards for this week - I am (she whispers!) currently up to date - it won't last!

I promised last week that I would show you some of the photos taken with my new camera which is a waterproof camera so here they are... there are quite a few so please feel free to skip past.

I warned you!  Needless to say I am having fun with it.... selfies are a challenge as I can't see where I am pointing it! I love the way I can get a little closer to nature with it.

I will leave you with this photo of a friendly coot who came to say hello on my swim on Monday.  I hope you are all staying safe and well.  Alex is full of cold (Covid tests so far say negative) and the new Covid variant seems to be running rife among the teenagers and students so fingers crossed we all manage to avoid coming into contact with it and can get on our family holiday in a few weeks time. That's all from me for this week.  Take care everyone and stay safe,

With love & God Bless,

Caro
