WOYWW 631

Hello and welcome back to my blog for another edition of What's on your workdesk Wednesday - the nicest blog hop in the world hosted by the lovely Julia.

Here is my desk in all its creative glory - confession time though- this was taken at the weekend when I had time to craft.  At the moment it is empty apart from my laptop and a mug of tea.  I was asked by someone last week how I managed to get it so tidy after crafting - the answer is necessity as I am still working from home so my craft desk becomes my work desk during the day. Not ideal but I make it work. Anyway, in this picture you can see various ink pads, ephemera, index cards in the process of being decorated as part of ICAD (index card a day) challenge, stamps and my mug of tea.

These are the index cards for this week - I am (she whispers!) currently up to date - it won't last!

I promised last week that I would show you some of the photos taken with my new camera which is a waterproof camera so here they are... there are quite a few so please feel free to skip past.

I warned you!  Needless to say I am having fun with it.... selfies are a challenge as I can't see where I am pointing it! I love the way I can get a little closer to nature with it.

I will leave you with this photo of a friendly coot who came to say hello on my swim on Monday.  I hope you are all staying safe and well.  Alex is full of cold (Covid tests so far say negative) and the new Covid variant seems to be running rife among the teenagers and students so fingers crossed we all manage to avoid coming into contact with it and can get on our family holiday in a few weeks time. That's all from me for this week.  Take care everyone and stay safe,

With love & God Bless,

Caro

Happy WOYWW. I am impressed that you are keeping up to date with the index cards. I have started so many daily challenges and think I have only finished one. I am not doing any challenges this year, as I just needed to relax more. Fantastic photos taken with your new camera. I do miss swimming. I cannot cope with cold water, so only a very hot country (for instance when we were in Jamaica) or a well heated pool is ok for me. Ali x #12

You’re turning into a mermaid! Love the underwater pic, great fun as was the inquisitive little coot. The iCards are great and well done on being up to date, that’s impressive, lol! (It would never happen with me) Covid is rife in schools here too, whole year groups are out, I’m going to be careful for quite a while to come.

Your Icad's are great Caro, I'm very drawn to the insect ones, I can never resist a beetle or a butterfly! Great pics with your new camera - it looks like you were very close to the Coot indeed.
Hope you have a good week and stay safe and well - hope Alex is soon better.

I really loved the undersea photos, Caro. They are fabulous. Like you, I have to keep my desk clean, but mine is because the room is so small, I would NEVER find anything if I didn't put everything away after I used it.

You are on a fungi kick with your last ICADs. I really like them. I like them all, in fact. Yours are so much more clever than mine. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Wishing you luck for your holiday x. Great underwater photographs, so clear. Still smiling under water!
Your Index cards are fabulous, I am hopelessly lost on where I am number wise, I have several to finish but lost the will at the moment.

Loving the photos with the new camera. I'm guessing you will be finishing for the summer soon. I can tell you no one will stop us wearing our masks and I just hope other people are sensible too. Lincoln is now full of students which has been great for the city and generally they all seem to wear masks when shopping and I just hope they carry on when the rules are relaxed. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

Cool index cards! I have a separate office but I'm afraid my craft stuff invaded my work space as well. Yours indeed always looks spick and span! Great underwater shots - it must be more pleasant swimming in the summer than in the winter. I still can't believe you did that LOL! Enjoy your week, Caro! xx zsuzsa #22

I had a busy morning shortening 3 hems on a bridesmaid’s dress and then steaming it And since lunch I’ve been for my annual diabetic eye test (although it’s 18 months since my last thanks to Covid!) so I’m just catching up with a few blogs before the football starts.
I love your latest index cards and I always enjoy seeing you having time wild swimming.

Fabulous photos with your new camera - you can tell how much you are enjoying using it.
Love the icads - the mess you make of your desk is surely well worth it when you come up with such great cards as these are. I love the first lot especially - fab backgrounds.
Blessings, Neet 11 xx

Your ICADS are gorgeous and I am happy to say I finally found your little envelope of goodies in that "safe place" where I stashed them. I am adding them to my junk journal for sure. LOVE your waterproof camera selfies! They are fab :D

So very late this week!
