Alex is being so funny at the moment regailing us with stories and scenarios that he is making up. My favourite from this week is this: We were driving home in the car and he was holding his little bear (named Grizzly bear) very carefully. He told us that 'Grizzly bear is a dangerous remote control'. When asked what the bear was a remote control for he said 'to make sure the car doesn't crash while we are driving home'. When we arrived home he again told us that 'Grizzly bear is a dangerous remote control', but when asked whether it was still a remote control for the car he said 'No! Grizzly bear is a dangerous remote control for the house', so when I asked whether Grizzly bear could make the house fly like a rocket, he looked at me as though I had gone mad and said very crossly 'No! He is a dangerous remote control to make the house stay in the hole'. Don't you just love it!
Crafting wise I haven't done a lot over the past couple of days (partly because I have been reading an addictive book!), but I have made these trading cards for a swap that is running on CM&PC forum. The theme of the swap is 'Once upon a time', so I decided to make a little scene on each ATC using some chipboard houses that I would never usually use (they came free with a magazine), some Disney Princess stickers, tapestry and Lavinia stamps, distress and versacolour inks. These ATCs actually fit with several challenges as follows: Crazy challenge 'up in the air' - the birds are flying in the air; Creative Craft 'summer lovin' & CCT 'summer' - these are very summery scenes to my mind with the yellow sun in the corner; Creative Inspirations 'on the move' - a lot of the ladies are riding their horses and are therefore on the move!; Penny's challenge '7 of something' - each of these trading cards has 7 flowers stamped onto it; Pile it on 'favourite things' - at the moment my distress inks are definitely among my favourite crafting items. That is all for now folks! I hope you have a great weekend.
Love,
Caro

Oh, he's so cute!!! Don't you just love them at that age? I love reading about his adventures. Thank you for sharing :-) Jude.x
A child's imagination is fascinating, such a treasure trove of ideas. How good that it can be encouraged and allowed to grow.
I've been away from my computer for a while so haven't kept up with your blog.
I HAVE looked at stuff I've missed tho' and see you continue to produce lovely layouts, cards and other craft related stuff, as well, of course, as your great photos.

What a fun age, most of the time I can figure out what my boy is talking about, where he put two and two together and made his own story out of it because I am with him all day, but every once in a while, he throws me, I have to wonder just where does he come up with this stuff, lol. Well, sounds like Grizzly is a protective bear, yay for Grizzly :)
My girls would reach into the screen to get their hands on your creations, nothing better than a Disney Princess EXCEPT a pony!! Super cute work and thanks so much for sharing with us at Creative Inspirations this week!!
