We are all tired this week having been fighting a cold and not sleeping well, but poor little Alex was besides himself with exhaustion this evening and we have had total meltdown over the most ridiculous things, poor boy. I hope that he sleeps well tonight and that he can enjoy the weekend.
Crafting wise I have been quite busy! I decided that I really liked making quick and simple cards so have continued with the theme with a few more stamped cards, all of which are different. This first one is an Autumn themed birthday card so it fits with the Simon says stamp and MTTC 'autumn' themes as well as the stamp something 'celebration' theme.
This card is a simple thank you card made with Crafty Individual stamps and is being entered into the stamp n doodle 'anything goes' challenge.
This final card is my first Christmas card of the year which sadly went a bit wrong as the glitter glue reacted badly with the pens I used to colour in the baubles. Nevertheless you can see the effect I was aiming for...this one will go in the bin and I will make another one to replace it! The card actually fits with the Creative Inspirations 'christmas card theme and the SCSC 'purple and silver' challenge.
Finally I made a scrapbook layout following this weeks Pencil Lines sketch and fitting with the Scrap it with a song challenge. I used the phrase 'come ride with me' as the title to my page which features Alex and his cousins riding Roly, my Aunt's 40 year old pony. The page was actually made entirely from scraps of paper left over from other projects, with the exception of the Bazzil cardstock on which it is mounted. Have a great weekend everyone.
Love,
Caro
