10 inches and still falling!

We now have 10 inches of snow and it is still falling to Alex's delight.  Now, I love snow when I have time to play in it and don't have to work, but when you have to drive to work in it I don't find it quite so much fun.  However, that said, we parked the car on the bus route at the bottom of our road on Monday night so we were able to drive Alex into nursery yesterday  The advantage of this is that we ended up sledging down the slope on our road to get to the car yesterday morning...great fun! However, now we have 10 inches of snow, the buses are no longer running, nursery is closed so I am working from home today.  I wish it would actually stop snowing so i can go outside and build a snowman with Alex!
As it is Wednesday today it is also time for a WOYWW...This is mine from last night and it is unusual this week as I am in the process of making 24 computer gaming based inchies.  These are for Tim's advent calendar...with his M.E. he can't do much, but still enjoys gaming hence the idea of making him some inchies as part of his calendar!  So on my desk you can see all my key crafting essentials my ruler, craft knife, sakura stardust pen, craft mat and double sided sticky tape, as well as the background cardstock I used and some tiny stickers...I even used the central portions of letters from peel off sheets to give me a little extra on the inchies.
Here are the finished inchies, all ready to go into the little boxes of the advent calendar..alongside a chocolate for each day of course!  As these are for advent they fit with the advent theme for Stamp with fun, and as a number of them have stars on them (there are some space games in there) they fit with the 'star' theme from Paperplay. That is all from me for now...stay safe and warm in all the snow and ice and have a good rest of the week.
Love,
Caro

What a clever and novel idea for the advent theme. Good to see the snow is not putting you off enjoying yourself.

What a fab idea for your boy, so much more interesting than just a choccy each day. Think we have about 16inches so not going very far. Carolxx

Really pleased to see someone actually enjoying the snow. I'm so nervous walking on it that I tend to stay well away from it. Brrrrrr it's so cold :-)

I can't believe how Alex is changing too - he's looking VERY grown up these days.
