Carol concert

Alex had his Christmas carol concert at nursery yesterday...it was so sweet watching all the 3 and 4 year olds singing their hearts out.  Alex was very enthusiastic remembering all the words and actions and singing at the top of his voice...just a shame that it wasn't very tuneful!  He got so excited and carried away that he sang an extra chorus of jingle bells all by himself!
I am now officially off work and so spent yesterday wrapping presents and tidying the upper half of the house...I have downstairs to do now.  For this weeks WOYWW I thought I would show you our dining room table which is full of wrapped presents...only a few left to do now.
My actual desk has a last minute tag production line going on.  I needed a few more than I had made so frantically cut some netability shapes out and stamped a tree onto them in coloured ink..quick and simple, but effective.
The only crafting I have done apart from that is to make this scrapbook layout following this weeks unscripted sketch and the theme of on the farm from SCSC.  The journalling reads 'We had a magical day at Cannon Hall farm seeing all the baby animals including a 1 day old donkey and a week old llama. For the first time Alex got excited about feeding the animals, especially the smaller sheep and gots, before having fun on the playground.'  As this is likely to be my last post before heading down to Somerset for Christmas I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
Love,
Caro

You seem far more organised that I am. Well done! I still need to wrap all the pressies - not that anyone is going to get here to collect them with all the snow round her, but never mind. Coome to think of it, I still have two cards to finishe, two to even start and a Christmas present to make for our eldest grandaughter. She is only 8 but deeply into crafting, so I am putting together a box with all the things a girl needs - lots of glitz and glitter, lots of flower and other shapes, cut out of pretty paper and card with the Silhouette.

Like the idea of your enthusiastic littl'un doing a whole extra chorus by himself. I am sure he's really excited to see all those wrapped prezzies.

Your son does look as though he is enjoying himself immensely. I love watching how children react to Christmas - makes it all the more enjoyable. Your layout is lovely, the baby donkey is gorgeous. Sometime, when you have a moment, maybe you could explain to me what inchies are? Elizabeth #51

Seeing Alex took me back to remembering my own boys and grandsons when they were that age and how amazing they all were, to very proud of themselves and the great big smiles on theit faces. Thanks for giving me a minute to stop and remember when!! Just what I needed. #70

Your post was filled with lots of Christmas cheer from the gifts to the last minute tags (which LOOKED easy when you have the proper tools).

I hope your Christmas was merry and filled with warmth, happiness, good health, and peace. Sounds corny, but it's my wish, anyway.
