WOYWW 509

Where has that week gone?  Work has been crazy busy and almost without me noticing it we are back at Wednesday again so here is my desk as part of WOYWW.
On my desk you can actually see some crafting in action - a birthday card for my sister in law who loves to dance. You can also see inks pads, sponges, pens etc.  My mug of tea is half-finished and my laptop charging cable is draped across the desk.

In other news Alex had scout camp this last weekend and survived the high winds and rain coming back tired and filthy but happy having had a wonderful time.
And to finish here is a picture of Alex trying to flip a pancake - great height but a shame it didn't entirely land in the pan on the way down - he was much more successful when he wasn't as vigorous with the throw!  That's all from me for now.  Have a wonderful week everyone.
With love & God Bless,
Caro

Great mid air action there Caro, and quite a hefty pan to be wielding! We haven’t done the pancakes yet, but we will! Love the look of the card you’re making for your SiL, very handy with the inks you are Gal.

Happy WOYWW. I love that card. I made pancakes last night, but no flipping. I struggle with that now. I ate far too many and felt quite sick afterwards! Ali x #11

That's a great card Caro, it's amazing how the week just seems to disappear isn't it. Alex did a great job with the pancakes, I hope he wasn't disappointed it didn't quite make it back to the pan! Happy WoywW and have a blessed week Tracey #12

That’s right Caro, start them young, well done, Alex for trying, I wouldn’t catch mine either, I’m sure it would either stick on ceiling or on floor splat! Great card in action there, well done, lovely blending indeed.

Goodmorning Julia, thanks for your visit on my blog yesterday - although I linked you to an old post... Oh my, I (almost) always check my links but was a bit tired yesterday and just hit the enter button without checking... anyway, I put a new link in the list now so you can come over and take another walk with me ;) I love that birthday card with the dancer, makes me think of one of my fave songs by Elton John - "tiny dancer"... and wow, that pancake flies hight... I never tried that myself (and I'm 55 *hihi* )Have a great day, love from Holland. Marit #32

Lol, I love the pancake pic - it's always a narrow balance of triumph v disaster when you pancake toss, isn't it?! Lol. I keep my fingers firmly crossed when I attempt it, so I admire Alex's gung-ho technique :-D. Great card for a dancer, the colours are fab!

What fun with your son tossing pancakes. He is at that perfect age now - just enjoy him as I know you do.
Love the card you have made - reminds me of some I did a while ago with silhouette stamps - must look for them again and make some more when I feel up to it.

Love the pancake tossing shot Caro. Alex certainly looks as if he had a nice muddy time on his trip too. Love the colourful background on that card for your SIL. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

What a lovely card, Caro, and great pics of Alex, especially the second one which made me smile! Brilliant! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing Lily and Ruby again. The loo paper is definitely worth checking out. I'm in a pickle today, having had a temp. filling at the dentist this a.m. and as I suspected, the next tooth is also in trouble and I shall have to go back again. On top of that, I've got laryngitis and absolutely no voice! Never rains but it pours!

Happy belated WOYWW,

ooh he did have a blowy weekend, fair play, used to love camping when I was in the brownies and guides, great way for kids to explore I think.
Love the desk, looks really tidy (I see green craft mat so therefore tidy!)

HI Caro, Sorry to be so late in my replies, but this is the first chance I have gotten all week! Thanks for your visit! The card you are showing is almost the exact card I got for my birthday from a good stamping friend! Small world! Looks like Alex is having a lot of fun, and will master pancake flipping in no time! See you tomorrow, Lindart #22
