WOYWW 508

It is Wednesday and time for Julia's weekly blog and desk hop known as 'What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday' or WOYWW.
My desk is neat and tidy as I am getting my journal up to date so only pens, the book, my miniprinter etc are in use.  The rest are detritus from being away (medication, kindle, audio CDs etc) and my usual large (pint) mug of tea!

We were down in Somerset last week visiting my mum and the weather was incredible - we spent most of the time outside helping to prune roses etc, going for lovely walks, and enjoying the spring flowers and unseasonably warm weather. The photo above is of Mum, my brother and me and her three grandchildren.
We also got to see Gran who has definitely turned a corner and is doing much better - she is now working on her stamina so that she can walk with more confidence and further.  It is managing doors, with her walker that is proving the challenge. Needless to say Alex loved being with his cousins and the three of them had fun den building in the hedge.
That is all from me for now.  Have a great week everyone.  Take care,
With love and God Bless,
Caro

Oh Hello Caro, so nice to see your blog and your family! I'm happy your gran is getting better! My MUM is from London, born and raised! I'm in the USA and she missed home - been stateside now 50 years (shhh! don't tell her I said that, LOL!) I can't find a way to follow your blog? But hello to you and I'll stop by again! I saw your post on a friends blog and wanted to come say hello! xx

HI Caro, ooh I am totally impressed your bulbs are up. ( I think the green parts of the daffodils are about 2 inches out of the soil (under the snow haha) last time we could see the dirt. That sounds like really good news about your gma too. ~Stacy #24

So pleased to hear about your Gran - may she continue to improve daily.
Lovely photos of the flowers, especially the cyclamen, they are so pretty and what gorgeous colours. Must be a big garden judging by the size of the den the boys built. Oh happy days!
Lots of time for crafting, enjoy the outdoors when you can - and visiting!
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

So jealous of your spring flowers and long walks outside. It's snowing as I type. Hasn't been the worst winter (little snow so far) but I miss being outside long periods of time. I have bullet journals too. One for work and one is a book journal. It's fun and I don't make it too complicated so I can keep up with it. Happy to hear your Gran is on the mend. I'm sure your visit only makes things better. Thanks for the visit and have a blessed week!
