WOYWW 515 (?)

Well it has been a hectic two weeks but I am back in the land of blog for the wonderful weekly blog hop round the crafting desks of the world (WOYWW courtesy of Julia, head desker)
Here is my desk, which has seen very little action over the past two weeks... I am in the process of drinking a large mug of tea and getting my bullet journal up to date so you can see my journal, distress ink, pens, stencil etc. I have to warn you that this is a very picture heavy post (but not too many words!) - the big news is at the end so feel free to skip through!
In the past few weeks, we have celebrated Alex's 12th birthday so I made a Harry Potter themed cake for him
and went to see Shazam!
We also had school holidays so went down to see my brother and his family, and in the process visited London
and walked along the Southbank

to see the Tower of London. And then Mum joined us so we went to Wisley

 and to Painshill Park

The crystal grotto was amazing. Both gardens/parks are well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Finally, I am very excited to be able to announce that I can come to the WOYWW 10th anniversary crop!  Mum has Alex for half-term and we have arranged that I can collect him just after the crop... I may have to leave a little early, but better some of the day than none! Can't wait to meet you all.
Have a great week,
With love and God Bless
Caro

Wooohoooooooo! I'm so happy that you can come to the Crop Caro - after all these years of knowing you virtually, it'll be amazing to meet you in real life. Don't bring too much with you to craft, no-one gets much done, lol! Happy Birthday Alex, it looks like you had a fantastic time on your travels. The HP cake is rather fab too, my boys would like that and they're 26 and 23 now :-D

Well, that is certainly good news - how did you keep it to the end of your post, which, by the way, was interesting so I loved the journey.
What a fabulous cake you made for Alex who is growing up each time you put his photo on the blog. Enjoy spending days out with him whilst you can. You certainly visited some great places, some of which I have never heard of so no doubt will spend some time on the internet looking them up now.
Have a good week
Hugs, Neet 11 xx

Thanks for your return visit, Caro, and for all your good wishes! I'm so glad you like my little flowers. Not much time to work on them at the moment as I've got to get the website sorted and it's proving very difficult!
