WOYWW 585 (I think!)

Happy Wednesday and it is time for another edition of What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW) courtesy of the lovely Julia.

Here is my desk in all its messy glory!  Covered with stickers, washi tape, and scissors as I decided that I urgently needed to get my diary up to date. The observant among you will notice that my usual mug of tea is missing - this is because Tim had taken it to make me a refill!

I am using a Hobonichi weeks diary which is quite small but generally perfect for my needs.  I use it as a Bullet journal some of the time, but due to lockdown there is less need for planning (at least homewise - I have a separate planner for work) so I have migrated to using it for memories with photos etc.

These are the monthly pages I have just completed.

And here is a video of a flip through of the completed weekly pages. Diary of events and happenings on the left, photos and stickers on the right.

Last week I was missing in action because I was away on holiday - I had a week in a Caravan on the coast in Devon and also got to spend some time with my Mum, Brother and his family which was wonderful. Alex adored seeing his cousins for the first time since February.

As you can see we had wonderful weather most of the time so spent hours swimming and playing in the sea.  I am back to work and hundreds of emails now but have a little more time off before the end of the month for a staycation - Alex and I will have to work out what we do to have some fun in that time.

Take care of yourselves everyone. Stay safe.

With love and God Bless,

Caro

Your diary looks wonderful - I know how much dedication it takes to keep it going, taking and printing the photos, etc, but it's so worth the hard work to document this precious time with your family for the future! Alex is definitely a water baby, isn't he? Looks like you had a lovely holiday - I don't think we'll go anywhere this year, other than just day trips. The other day we went back to the area that we moved out of three years ago and it was a real trip down memory lane! Take care and keep happy! xx zsuzsa #21

How disciplined you are with your diary - I wish I could do that, just lack the will I suppose. Glad you had a good holiday and got the good weather - looks like fun! Happy WOYWW, stay well, safe, Cindy #21

Your diary pages are lovely, Caro. I do like the "crazy paving" backgrounds too! Your watery holiday pics are such fun. Whereabouts in Devon were you? If you are down our way again I would love to meet up, once restrictions have been lifted. North Devon is quite a trek for us but if you ever come to the south coast, we are right there!!

Happy WOYWW and God bless,

Great looking journal/diary. You must have a lot of patience...something I sorely lack now days! Loved seeing the flip through video! Looks like Devon was a lot of fun. I am a water fiend and spend most evenings in the pool in my backyard. One of my stipulations to move back south was I had to have a pool. Hope you have a great week. Vickie #32

Your holiday looks such fun. Hope that Graham and I can manage a week away at some point though I'm a little nervous re going anywhere.

This is a brilliant diary and if one thing has come from this awful virus it's the time that you've been able to spend with your son, lucky Alex. Wishing you a very happy woyww and a lovely creative week, Angela x14x

Thank you for your return visit, Caro - and for your kind words about my outfit! That blouse is my favourite one as I really love the embroidery on it. Seaton isn't far from us - we live in Torquay. We used to live in Plymouth, very near the Tamar bridge into Cornwall but we are further east now. If you are down again you simply must let us know - it would be fantastic to meet up! After all, Sheffield is a very, very long way away and if you're in Seaton it's only just around the corner for us!! You obviously had a good time - I loved all your swimming photos.

God bless - and I hope you had a good journey home!

Hi Caro! I love seeing your memories in your Hobonichi. About a month before the pandemic, I was inspired to get back to scrapbooking and I have fallen a little behind. Isn't it so rewarding looking back at the pages? I'm glad you shared so I am reminded to get back to mine. I am glad you were able to see your family and have some fun. I miss going on vacation. I really miss going to the beach. You are a brave soul in the water with your glasses on!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful memories and for stopping by to say hi.

Thanks for the visit and sweet comments. I love your family photos, I miss terribly doing these things with my 6 grand kids. All live far away and no travels (air) or long drives with our world the way it is.
Your bullet journal and all the tiny stickers are awesome. Sounds like a lot of fun. I hope to catch up working on 4 journals for family as a surprise. And relearning sewing, making a few masks to blend with my outfits. Enjoy a great weekend. Stay safe.

HI Caro! I love your diary with all those pictures, you certainly lead a full life! If I did that the page would be full of Mittsy and Inky, and maybe DH and his covid hair, which is all gone now. Not much else happens around here! Alex looks like he's having the time of his life! Glad you were able to get away and enjoy life! Lindart #27

I’m very late Caro, sorry, but didn’t want to miss! Lovely holiday pics, saw on FB too. Must have been lovely to spend time amongst others, lockdown was really more isolating than we thought at the time I think! Well in all the time I’ve been looking at your desk I dont think I’ve seen a shot without tea - you must have been seriously into it to call on Tim to bring in the reserves! YOur diary is fab. Just fab and full and life affirming. Do you print little photos or cut up big ones?
