Ok, so better late than never for joining in with What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday courtesy of the lovely Julia.
Here is my desk in chaos this morning as for our wedding anniversary, this morning Tim gave me a new waterproof camera plus a lot of accessories! I will have fun playing with this on my swim later. So on my desk is a large mug of tea, my laptop, ipad, the camera and loads of accessories (the random looking red thing is a floating handle - I have my doubts that it will stay afloat given the weight of the camera, but will be testing it in the bath!)... my various journals are also hiding on the desk.
I have done very little crafting this week (I had a sermon and a service to prepare) but did manage to make this card for Tim, although I was very cross with myself when I spotted the mistake (after I had given it to him!).
I am still swimming, on occasion joined by Alex, and am loving all the nature round us. Work is picking up again, but I have the day off today and Tim and I are off out for a special meal to celebrate 20 years of us. I will leave you with a few photos of our wedding...
We look so young... I hope you all have a lovely week, Take care and stay safe.
With love & God Bless,
Caro

I’m just grabbing a quick break and catching up with all my favourite blogs while I get the chance...the world and his wife are needing sewing at the mo so I’m keeping busy.
A very happy anniversary to you both. I hope you have a really special day celebrating.
Hugs,

Happy anniversary! Our 19th is coming up as well - seems longer somehow! I was looking for the "mistake" but I couldn't spot anything wrong with the card - it's a great idea to make a 20 out of the family photos! I love your wedding shots two - you looked so young! Happy swimming - the waterproof camera is a great gift! xx zsuzsa #21

How9 sweet of Tim to give you that camera. I know you will love it and get a lot out of it, too. Happy WOYWW from # 5.
Happy Anniversary Caro and Tim! That’s a fab card, I love the idea behind it and who cares about the error, it’s the images that count! That new waterproof camera is an inspired gift, you’ll make good use of that!

What mistake? I could not spot anything but I loved the idea of using pictures to make up the numbers. What a fabulous card. Congratulations too - you do not look old enough to be celebrating your silver wedding in five years time.
Such a beautiful bride and her handsome groom, thank you so much for sharing.
The gift from your husband is truly remarkable - what a lovely idea to buy you something like that. That is something you will enjoy so much when you do your swims. He obviously put a lot of thought into that.
Take care and enjoy your evening out together.

Lovely wedding photos! Love your flowers, such a lovely arrangement! I had a small one and a horse shoe wedding cake. (chocolate sponge, not fruit although the top one was fruit well saved it for the christening...but didn't use it seeing it was a good 5-6 years later!) Well, I cant see anything wrong with your 20 card! You still haven't recieved the ATC's? I know I posted them, but some still have not arrived even now. (I could send you a picture!)Stay Safe, Happy WOYWW?! ((Lyn)) #15
Well, mistake or not (I can't see one) that card is lovely. A great idea to show your growth as a couple and then a family over the years. Enjoy your swims and hope your celebration was fab. So sweet to see the wedding photos and Happy Anniversary!

Caro, Happy Anniversary!! :) And.....what a brilliant gift hubby gave you! You will DEFINITELY put that beauty to good use with all your water goings ons!!! I love the card, what a cute idea!! As usual I love your swimmy photos and glad to see Alex hanging in the water with you!! It's probably a little more inviting now that it is not FREEZING outside! LOLOL Your photos are so pretty and your dress is gorgeous!! You were a beautiful bride and that same gorgeous smile that is so infectious now when we see your photos!! I haven't been around much lately due to so many things going on in my life and work, so having to do a round today, after the fact. You mentioned several back that if I wanted to swap we could and I never got back with you! I still have ATC's for the Anniversary if you want to swap, but I'd swap anytime honestly! I’m so late, but managed to send you best wishes on FB so don’t feel quite as bad. What lovely wedding photos, a gorgeous day all round, I always notice outdoor pictures because my wedding was on a v wet day!! Thoughtful gift from your man as well, I hope you really enjoy it. I can’t see a mistake on your anniversary card. Unless you got the number wrong??!!!!!
Happy Belated WOYWW. Congrats on the anniversary, and thank you for sharing wedding photos. We have been married 16 years now. I always admire people who go wild or sea swimming. I would love to do it, as I love swimming in the sea in particular, but it is just too cold in the UK. Any cold sets off my muscle cramps and Fibromyalgia pain. Ali x #24
ooh happy anniversary, lovely card and bet the camera will get a lot of use. hope work doesn't get too hectic and you can keep up the swimming.

Thank you for your visit, Caro, and I am sorry for the delay in visiting you - very busy week. I am so glad I made it here, though - happy belated wedding anniversary and what absolutely stunning wedding photos! What a truly beautiful bride... What a fun present from Tim. I look forward to seeing more about that! The family of goslings is adorable.
All news on my post this Wednesday. I am so sorry to hear about your friend, and I hope and pray for a good and safe outcome from her treatment. Does she know about the cold cap for helping you keep your hair? If mine was as long as that it would break my heart to lose it!! Mine is just down to my waist now and I really don't want to lose it! I continue to rest in the Lord and enjoy His peace and joy. Trying not to worry about stuff ahead of time! My times are in His hands.
Happy belated WOYWW and God bless,
Shoshi x #12
