Bank holiday Monday!

Isn't it typical. We have beautiful weather during the working week, but on the bank holiday Monday it is miserable.  Alex and I attempted to go to the park between showers and got hailed on! Not exactly what you would expect for May.  Nevertheless he enjoyed himself scooting round the park,
digging up the bark with Scoop
and playing on the slide, so much so that he didn't want to come home.  It was back to work with a bang for me on Tuesday with a day full of meetings and loads of paperwork to catch up on and students to see.  I keep thinking 'next week will be quieter', but it never is!
Crafting wise I have made this scrapbook page entitled 'Playing Dens'.  It follows this weeks unscripted sketch, and the recipe of three different papers (I didn't count the background cardstock), three flowers (mine are in a stack) and three ribbons from Cupcake (CCC). It also fits the theme of friendship from SCSC and stamp with fun, the scrap and stamp 'summer' theme (these papers are nice and summery), the practical scrappers 'stickers' challenge (Alphabet and pearl stickers), and the Scrap your C**p challenge of using Alphabet stickers. The journalling reads 'Alex and Isabella enjoyed playing together in their den under Katrina's bed'.
I also made this trading card, which fits the theme of 'summer' from Pollycraft as it uses summery colours.  I used three different distress inks over clear embossed alium stamps to get the effect. I would love to know what you think of these projects. Have a great week everyone.
Love,
Caro

Oh, GORGEOUS l/o the playing dens. I used to love doing that as a child - you don't seem to see children doing it now tho'.

Great card.

Is that slide metal? Be careful when it gets hotter, I once burned my legs on one when I was little as the sun had heated it up so much.
