Hang on a minute...haven't we been here before? Snow on a Friday? Somewhat familiar I feel. It is Friday and time for Annie's smiles. As I type there is a blizzard coming down, and for the first time this year Alex's school closed early (at lunchtime). He and I braved the heavy snow for a brief sledging time, but it was too cold to be out in it for long. We both looked like walking snowmen at the end of it.
To warm up after sledging Alex decided it would be fun to decorate some biscuits. I just love the look of concentration on his face as he puts icing on the rich teas!
This is the final decorated result...
it tasted very yummy
as can be seen by this massive smile! Mind you, I had to get the hoover out to get rid of all the hundreds and thousands that were all over the kitchen floor. I hope you enjoyed my smiles this week. Have a nice weekend and stay safe if you have snow.
Love,
Caro

So many happy memories have been made whilst decorating rich tea biscuits with mine when they were little so thank you for jogging my memory. Fab pics. Thanks for sharing them.
Hugs,
Annie x
I am smiling for sure at mr craftman even bringing his skills to bickys! I bet he really really enjoyed those. He would love all the snow here in germany but thankfully it is no problem as pavements and roads are completely clear so life goes on perfectly. Hsve a great weekend, love jo x
That wonderful smile is infectious.
It is bitter up here ...no snow ....just sleet and wind.
That's a smile that would melt any heart. He's a real sweetie. Elizabeth xx
We don't need a hoover in the kitchen, we have two black furry ones who catch everything before it hits the floor. I dropped an egg the other day (I kept hold of the shell but lost the inside). No problem, it had vanished in ten seconds and they were looking round for more. Well done to Alex for his decorating. He is obviously going to be a cake decorator. Hope you don't get too much snow. xx Maggie
A very happy smiley day today!!
