Empty (WOYWW)!

An empty desk? For WOYWW? Well yes, mostly.  At the left you can see my bible (in a fun cover), my little book of sermon notes (the purple notebook), a few random scraps of card and a party invitation for the science party that Alex is going to this weekend.  The reason my desk is so tidy today is that after Alex’s crafting session yesterday I needed to tidy up in order to have space to craft myself.
Here is the little crafter in action, just before school yesterday morning!
I haven’t managed to do a great deal of crafting this week as time ran away with me, but I did finish the journal page I started last week.
I also made this birthday card for my nephew who is 4.  I thought that the Dr Seuss phrase was so appropriate.  This was coloured with promarker pens and mounted on funky card stock (Nana’s kids – I think!).  That is all from me for now.  Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Super neat desk but I'm sure Alex will be there again before you. The card for your nephew is excellent and I love the Dr Zeuss quote so much... that's going in a little book for sure.
Have a good week...

Hello Caro. Another beautiful and meaningful journal page. Well done - I can see and hear with my heart, that you
a) listen to the message at church
b) love to let it meander through your heart and learn through it
c) love Jesus passionately
d) love being the creative person Father God made you to be
Fantastic!!!
Have a lovely week - great to see Alex crafting, too.

Great fun card - but I would have to come over & create some mess on that desk with you - all that tidiness makes me nervous !! Ali #36

Gotta love that Dr. Seuss inspired card. What an appropriate sentiment for a 4 year old.

It was good to see Alex playing, too. It's never too early to encourage them, is it?

Thanks for visiting me while I slept. Happy WOYWW from #1.

It's great that your son has craft time before school. I bet that helps get his little brain going!!

The Dr. Seuss card is so cute. So wise for kids of all ages!
