Well my little boy celebrates his 7th birthday
this week and so my smiles are from the party he had last weekend. He chose to celebrate in a softplay centre
and had a wonderful time diving into the ball pit,
Burying himself underneath all the balls and then popping up
with a cheeky grin,
And then having party food which finished with cake and the
most raucous (and tuneless) rendition of Happy Birthday I have ever heard…It
was hilarious and he loved every minute of it.
We also had a lovely Mothering Sunday consisting of beautiful flowers, presents in bed,
a lovely church service followed by cake and tea, then a delicious meal out at
a restaurant (Alex was happy lying on the floor drawing when he wasn't eating
and no one minded)
and a lovely walk in the spring sunshine,
complete with some Mother and Son selfies…
this one was
taken at arm’s length in a tunnel in the playground and caused much
hilarity! That is all from me for now. I
am off to join this into Annie’s smiles now.

Ah there are some fabulous photos there and such beautiful memories, hope you have a great week!
I'm going to say it one more time. Alex is one lucky little guy. He experiences more life than most children his age. Looks like he had a wonderful birthday, too.
