Here is my desk featuring my journal, various stickers and pens, my mug of nearly finished tea and importantly at the back two memory bears from the lovely Annie. The one on the left is new and is in memory of my Gran.
It has Gran's bobbin lace carefully sewn onto it, and a brooch she made. Alex also has one, which has buttons from one of Gran's cardigans on the front.
I had a lovely Valentines present from Tim last week in the form of more crafting goodies - all for pocket scrapbooking.
I hadn't done any in ages, but prompted by my new goodies, I put together two new pages - one of a meal out with Tim's family
and one of Abby's ordination. I have all the photos ready to complete pages up until Christmas, but now need to find the time to actually do them - these two pages were from early July so I have a way to go.
I hope you have all managed to stay safe through the recent storms. Do take care out there! I will finish with a rare photo of me and Tim out for a meal on Valentines Day.
With love and God Bless,
Caro

Lovely photo of you and Tim and such lovely smiles. A friend has just been ordained into the Methodist Church in Glasgow but she had to wait for retirement to do that. You will be guided to make the right decision and I will think of you and your family as you pray and discuss this decision. X
I love your memory bears, how special they are and I see you are journalling too. It's great to record those special memories isn't it.
Good Luck with whatever path you choose.

It was so lovely to hear your bears had arrived safely Caro. I really loved the lace your Gran had made and the brooch really completes your bear to perfection....I hope they bring you lots of comfort.

Those memory bears are adorable. They are a great way to remember loved ones for sure. Nice busy desk too. Your hubby knows how to treat a lady....crafting goodies, perfect gift. Have a lovely week and a very happy woyww, Angela x15x
Such a lovely idea to make the bears. YOur desk looks very tidy from here! Good luck with the huge life decision, I had a dad in the ministry, it takes a lot of time away from family.
Aww I love the bear! I hope that you are able to find the right path forward for you and your family. What a lovely picture of you and your hubby.
Have a great week. Soojay #11
Ooh, Rev Caro, eh? Exciting. And I love the memory bears. x
How fab that you dived in straightaway with your new crafting goodies, the LOs are great! The memory bears are a lovely way of remembering your Gran, how lovely that Alex has one as well.

Hi Caro, Annies bears are adorable, aren't they? Great Valentines presents you got. The pocket scrapbooking looks fun to do. I'm sure whatever choice you and the diocese make will be after much careful thought, and will be exactly what is best for you, and them. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X
What a wonderful idea for the bears. To have memories sewn onto them is so thoughtful and creative!

Lovely photograph of you and Tim, similar smiles - both of you smile so that the whole of your faces light up. Now I know where Alex gets his lovely smile from. You obviously had a lovely meal out, you look so happy.
I cannot explain it but I felt sure I had seen those two Memory Bears before. I even checked the date on your blogpost and then checked the post below. Strange! They are lovely and I am sure they will be really treasured.
Lovely pocket scrapbooking, lucky lady getting all those small goodies to help you with it. Do you use the Sprocket to take the photographs for it?
I am so glad your sermon went well and I will certainly pray for the future steps for you and your family. I will add an extra bit to my prayers for your mum and husband to include the whole family and the Ministry.
Blessings, Neet 10 xx
ps sadly yes the pain has not been good today but hey ho, tomorrow it could be good again.
Love the way the bears are made with loving memories of your gran! And what a nice gift from hubby! Love the pocket scrapbooking! Great way of preserving fun times. And you and Tim are just so cute! Will be praying for God's direction. Thanks for popping by and have a great week!

Hi Caro, some lovely photos in your post today. I too have many scrapbooking pages to catch up on. I keep thinking one rainy day - but we've already had lots of those and I am no further along with the scrapbooking! Great pic of you and Tim! Have a lovely week Heather xx #26
Lovely post, Caro. I shall certainly pray for you for guidance for the future. It's not only whether it's right or not, it's the timing too, isn't it. I am so glad your sermon last week went so well and you got such positive feedback! The memory bears are such a wonderful idea, and how touching to have your Gran's lace... Thank you for your visit, and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing Lily peeking through the banisters - usually when they are doing something particularly endearing, they move before you can grab the camera!! I had a wonderful time at the craft show and am looking forward to getting stuck into my new stash. I tried the new clear gesso today and while it's not as gritty as my old lot, it still needs a light sanding to make it smooth enough for the Tombows. I'm working on colouring some drawings now.
Happy WOYWW and God bless,

I was blessed enough to be present at the ordination of a former colleague (sadly no longer with us). He carried on teaching after his ordination but moved to a Cathedral school. May you follow what is right for you and your family Caro. Hugs and prayers. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #2
Hi Caro! Lucky you! What a lovely Valentine's gift! I also do pocket scrapbooking - once in awhile. I was all gung ho last year that I would keep it up month by month...I think I got to February. Perhaps the way to go is event by event...Your pages are great!
I know that whatever you choose to do will be the right thing for you and your family. I will send positive thoughts your way.
What a great Valentines photo, you both look very happy! Thanks for your visit, and have a great week, Lindart #24
