WOYWW 603

Welcome back to the almost Christmas edition of What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW) courtesy of the lovely Julia.

This is my desk as I was trying to get my diary up to date... stickers, pens and my trusty mug of tea.

The only other crafting I have done has been making this mad hat for a Christmas hat competition over zoom at work - it lights up and everything!

I have finally finished work and my out of office is on for two whole weeks giving me a chance to relax a bit, so needless to say I have been swimming. This is my favourite spot - a beautiful disused reservoir in the middle of the peak district. So stunning!

With many people having to change their Christmas plans, I hope that you all manage to have some form of celebration even if it is unusual. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care, stay safe, wishing you the best Christmas possible under the circumstances,

With love & God Bless,

Caro

P.S. If anyone is finding it hard, I found this song from Casting Crowns (a Christian worship group) incredibly helpful and hope it will bless you too.

Love the Santa swimming - the hat is very festive as was the Christmas tree (I still think you should have got first prize with that!) I hope you and the family have a wonderful Christmas away from the madness.

Hi Caro. That song by Casting Crowns is stunningly beautiful. Hadn't come across it before. Hope it will really bring people near to their Father God this Christmastime - He who has loved them since before the foundation of the earth!!!
As for something completely different - that hat is something else! Such fun.
Have a fabulous Christmas Day with your family.
Take care. God bless.

What a wonderful Christmas hat - anything that lights up gets my vote! I can't believe you're still swimming - it's getting really cold now - we might even get snow! Super diary pages - doesn't your tea turn cold before you can drink it all? Lovely music too - very soothing! Have a well deserved rest from work and a happy Christmas with your family, Caro. xx zsuzsa #21

your hats - for the zoom and swimming - are such fun! I still think you were robbed with the zoom hat not winning! Enjoy the time without emails (work ones anyway) - you deserve it! Take care and stay safe, both in and out of the water! Happy Christmas. Helen #1

I know you swim with a friend, but am increasingly aware that its a chunk of quiet time in your hectic days which must give time to at least sort your thoughts and face forward again! Amazing that you’ve managed to swim for so long into December! Happy Christmas Caro, and love to you.

Hi Caro, thought I'd left you a comment but maybe not. Yesterday was crazy with the washing machine breaking down and still not fixed and picking up the Christmas shopping, even the dogs didn't get their walk so I might have missed you. Loving the hat...well both actually and hope you have the best Christmas possible. Hugs, Angela x10x

BOTH your hats made me smile, and I think after months I am finally becoming immune to your freezing water photos - I ALMOST don't shiver anymore.

Enjoy your time of work and you cold-water exercise!

Happy VERY late WOYWW - Christmas got in the way!
