WOYWW 502

Well I am back again for another edition of WOYWW.  My desk is still looking remarkably tidy even though I have used it for crafting.  On the desk you can see my bullet journal, a large mug of tea and to the left some piles of patterned papers and images that have been grouped together ready for use in my art journal.
I am currently joining in, when I have the time, with a challenge called 'useitupfillitup2' which is to use old stash in an art journal and create what you can in only 15 minutes each day. This is one of my more successful attempts using old scrapbook papers that I have had for years, and an image from Crafty Individuals.
This is another page in my journal using acrylic paints, stencils and a Dina Wakley stamp.
Thank you for your kind words about Gran.  She is still in hospital but the spine surgeon has decided not to operate and they are hoping to move her to the cottage hospital in Bridgewater for intensive physio soon.  I will keep you informed as to how she is doing, but in the meantime here is a picture of Alex cuddling a friend's puppy!  That's all for now. Have a great week everyone
With love and God Bless,
Caro

What a great way to be crafty each day - using up stash and a journal too, win-win! I love what you've done too, the colours are very pretty and the first is quite vintagey (is that a real word?! LOL(. I'm glad your Gran is being looked after so well x

hi Caro, yesss, cute puppy and grandson, beautiful chocolate pup.
I’m impressed with the 15 mins a day work, especially the first page...oh and that very tidy desk. My desk was like that until I put things from everywhere else on it!
Happy WOYWW, Shaz in Oz.x

Hi Caro, thats good news on your Gran. Love the journal pages too, I'd never complete something in 15 minutes! Other than a whole load of mess on my desk. :).Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 X

Hi Caro, I love your journal pages and using stash at the same time. Pleased to hear the news about your Gran too.
Lovely photo and the dog is very cute, I did a double take as Alex looks so like my Nephew when he was that age, even his hair.
Thanks for your earlier visit.

Hi Caro, Sending heaps of positive healing thoughts to your gran. Hope she is moved to the cottage hospital soon.

Thought for a moment you had a puppy:)

I bought my first journal today. Not exactly sure what to do, but I will watch some YouTube videos.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Great journaling idea Caro. I like both the pages and will have to remember to think about white space when I am journaling too. Happy WOYWW Sarah #2

Well that’s a beautiful outcome for 15 minutes and your desk! love the wall of drawers that are helping free up your desk, they look well, wow! doesn’t Alex look delighted to have the sweet puppy on his knee, he’ll be wishing for his own next, watch out! continuing good wishes for your dear Gran, I do hope she’s not in pain all the time.

Hope the physio is good for her and there is marked improvement.
Love your journal pages - amazing what you can do in 15 minutes - does that count thinking time though? I spend so much time thinking about what to do.

I love your beautiful journal pages, Caro, with the gorgeous colour and such creative use of white space. A great way to do a little each day, and use up some old stash into the bargain! The picture of Alex with the puppy is adorable! I am glad that your gran is making progress, and I hope the decision not to operate is the right one, and that she has not been left in too much pain. She looked so happy in the photo you posted of her last time. Thank you for your visit and I’m glad you like my scarf - I need to get on and finish the other end, but I’m so busy with other things at the moment and haven’t had time to do anything creative, and my desk remains neglected too! I am glad that you enjoyed reading about our kitties. They are endlessly entertaining and fun.

Happy belated WOYWW and God bless you and your family,
