Hello and welcome back to my blog for another edition of What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday hosted by the lovely Julia. I hope you are all doing well.
My desk is very boring today! It is set up for work - I am mostly working from home unless I have to go into uni for teaching or student meetings so each day everything gets put away (or shoved to the side). You can see my large mug of tea - I don't function without tea - and two note books to one side. These are the books in which I write my meeting notes and to do lists, and any notes around things I am doing. Towards the righthand side of my desk at the back you can see a honeydukes mug which is full of sweets to keep me going when marking and doing internal quality assurance for assessments. I need the sugar boost!
There has been very little crafting this week - just this page in my journal and keeping my bullet journal up to date.
I have managed some beautiful swims this past week but my favourite was probably the full-moon swim on Monday evening. We swam by the light of the moon and it was wonderful. It wasn't the most peaceful of swims as everyone howled like wolves as we entered the water, but when I sawm away from the rest into the centre and lay back I could see all the star constellations and the moon was so incredibly bright.
Afterwards we had a small fire, and a couple played the North American Flute and drum which really added to the atmosphere.
That's all from me for now. I hope you have a wonderful week,
With love & God bless,
Caro

I love seeing the photos of you braving the cold waters especially the full moon ones...it sounds lovely (if but rather too cold for me).

Your night swim sounds wonderful. After reading I closed my eyes and imagined being there, so restful. Afterwards sounds great fun too, what a lovely way to spend an evening.
Take care God Bless

Well there was me thinking you were a lonely swimmer and there you are having a party afterwards. It looks as if it was a magical night. Love the look of your journal pages. Have a great week Angela #10
The wolf moon was amazing wasn't it - your post describes the atmosphere of your swim beautifully. xx Jo
I thought the moonlight swim looked great ! Hope you get time to craft soon although your journal looks fab Helen #13
Wow, Caro, what a wonderful night that must have been! Even with the howling! The moon pics are gorgeous! Love your journal and BUJO. I'm managing now to keep up with my BUJO, I have changed my whole manner of making the pages which is much easier than what I was doing before. I'm using more purchased stickers than before. I love your stickers! Have a great week! Lindart #23

Love your bullet journal Caro - counts as crafting in my book. Fab photos of the moonlight swim too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
Wow Caro, what a lovely experience swimming at night must be…especially on a night so clear that the stars show themselves and the moon is full. Very special. As for time to do crafting…I’m amazed you manage even a single entry some days, you are so busy! Have a good week.
The moonlight swim looks lovely and even better that you had friends to join you. Loving the journal pages too. Have a happy woyww, Angela x1x
Cool pages! And night time swimming! How fun but definitely looks very cold. How fun to sit around a fire with friends!
Have a great week!

Oh my goodness! not only a cold water swim but one in the dark as well? You are a hearty soul for sure. And your bullet journal continues to be something I could only aspire to do. I have such a butterfly mind I simply cannot stick with one thing for any length of time. Well done to you :)
Stay Safe & a late but Happy WOYWW!
