WOYWW676 - 13th Anniversary edition!

Wowee!  It has been 13 years since the lovely Julia started What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday - the friendliest blog hop in the world.

Over the years there have been wonderful friendships made simply through the power of the internet with the occasional meet up. I joined just around the 1st year anniversary, and had a four year hiatus somewhere in the middle (because LIFE), but I do love being part of this community.

Anyway - here is my desk!  I have actually been crafting for once, using stickers to make some quick and simple notecards.  You can see the stickers, the cards in process, my metal ruler, craft knife and my nearly empty mug of tea.

That is the only crafting that has happened this week as other than work, I have spent my time prepping walls for painting (sanding and polyfilling), playing games and swimming.

We have a lot of both Canada and Graylag geese that tend to congregate at our local reservoirs and on Monday I was swimming when a whole lot of them flew over - they are a beautiful, if noisy, sight!  That is all from me for now.  I do have a few spare ATCs so if you haven't already agreed to swap with me and would like one, just let me know.

Take care, With love & God Bless,

Caro

Happy Anniversary WOYWW. I love quick & simple notecards. An ATC will be on its way to you tomorrow. I just need to make them first! I have made contact with the local Bluetits swimming group. Going to join them for a paddle at some point, but not found the time yet (and it will have to be a warm/sunny day!). Ali x #8

LOL! Yeah the whole painting thing is a massive pain but so lovely when done. Just been thru it to prep for the in-laws and now everything looks so fresh. Worth it. Love the idea of stickers for cards! I have a load of sticker paper so.... Once again WOYWW inspires!
Happy 13th year of WOYWW!

Happy 13th WOYWW Anniversary! When you said stickers I was thinking small - your note cards have lovely big stickers. Do tell me where you bought them from. Would love to swap with you if you have one left. My email address is at the top of my blog in the headers x Hugs Angela #13

Yes, we all have a lot to thank Julia and WOYWW for over the (however many) years we have been joining in. Do you remember Jo Pritchard? It was she who got me into this and I love it.
Love that you have been crafting between work, decorating and playing games, I assume with the family. Does one good to do something as a family.
Blessings, Neet 7 xx

Lovely photos of the geese, they are noisy aren't they but I do love hearing them, they always sound happy to me! I have your ATC ready to post and just realised I should have checked to make sure you are at the same address! Please let me know if you are still at 41 or I'll have to sticker over it!
Happy WOYWW anniversary, I hope you have a lovely week.

Your desk looks good, plenty of space to get on with your next project. We saw greylag geese at Capesthorne on Sunday. You look very relaxed in the lake. Hugs, Chrisx #27
