Well I woke up this morning to over an inch of snow on the ground. It made for an interesting trip to nursery in the car, with trying to reverse out of our drive the most scary part of the whole journey. I was back at work today which was chaotic as everyone wanted to see me, meaning that I didn't get the things done that I needed to do. Oh well such is life. Alex had a good day at nursery, but didn't really sleep there and so is over tired this evening and struggling to get to sleep as I write.
I made this card for the cupcake craft challenge (#16) today which had a theme of vintage. I used papers and images from the Hot off the Press Heritage set, and added Purple Onion fluorishes stamps and an angel kiss flower. The card was made following the sketch from card positioning systems (#93) so it is a two-in-one challenge card! I would love to know what you think. I have also just now made a card for this weeks daring cardmakers which was to make a Christmas card that was white and pink. A real challenge for me as pink isn't really my thing, but I had a go! The images are all embossed/cut on the cuttlebug.
On a different note Katharina from Whiff of Joy stamps is having an advent calendar where she is giving away a stamp a day. Why not pop over to her blog and check it out (click here). Similarly, Claire is also giving away some blog candy to celebrate getting 5,000 hits...it is very generous so take a look (click here). And finally, Emma is also giving away very generous candy for celebrating getting 2,000 hits (click here). More soon,
Love,
Caro
