Wednesday already?

Where did last week go?  I just turned around and it is time for another WOYWW!  My desk is relatively tidy stil which is quite amazing.  You can see my rather beaten up fiskars cutting mat with the card I have just finished sat on it (better photo of the card later).
Besides it there is a little pile of fern shapes which were kindly stamped for me by Lyn (Thank you!) and are waiting to be filed away safely. Behind which is a pack of Prima flowers, my craft knife, some marker pens and some Penny Black stamps.
To the other side of the craft mat is my most recent purchase, the packs of gems and I have already used them which is why they haven't been filed away.  You can also see various stamps, ink pads (Versamark, versacolour and versafine), my PVA glue and the inevitable cup of tea (almost finished before it got cold this time!).
Crafting wise I have made this simple and clean double page layout for the Scrap and Stamp challenge.  The stamps I used were Inkadinkado in the corners and I embossed them with gold embossing powder so this layout also fits for the metal challenge from Kaboodle Doodles and embossing from OCC.  As the stamps contain spots as does one of the paper flowers, the layout also fits with Oh La La's challenge for this week.
Finally I made this very simple little card with an idea borrowed from this months Craft Stamper. The stamp I used was a Penny Black and I drew the frames around each flower then coloured them in with lilac and blue whispers pens, added gems to the centre of each flower, finally mounting the card onto a lilac background. As a result the card fits with the Stamp with Fun 'lilac and blue theme, and the PTW 'something old (lilac card), something new (gems), something borrowed (the idea) and something blue (blue colouring and gems)' theme.  Have a great Wednesday everyone and a nice rest of the week.
Love,
Caro

Lovely space your have Caro and some lovely layouts too. Glad you liked the 'ferns' they are my fav for sticking behide flowers. I shall try and use 'thicker' paper next time, they don't seem to cut through card at all which is a shame! Have a fabulous woyww!!

This is the first time I've seen a Penny Black stamp up close and personal. I usually see them sitting nearly covered on someone's desk. Those fern leaves are adorable. So sweet of Lyn to punch them for you. Hopr you're having a great WOYWW.
