Better late than never!

I am running late for Annie's Friday smiles and Rocking your world Friday.  Both of these blogs make us appreciate all the good things in life and the things that have made us smile during the past week so I didn't want to miss joining in.  The things that I am grateful for this week are Friendships...my best friend moved away a few years ago and we don't get to meet up anyway near as much as we would like so when we do it is really special.  This was a picnic lunch last week in a park half-way between where we both live.
Three children playing on a log is the simplest of pleasures and lovely to see.
There were donkeys at the park so we treated the kids to a ride...only snag was that I had to lead Alex's very reluctant donkey round the track!
This week I also bought a second hand climbing frame for Alex and put it up.
Alex was delighted by it and has been playing on it whenever the weather permits - Just look at that happy smile!    That is all from me for now.  Have a great week.
Love
Caro

Special friends like that never change Caro even when distance comes between you....it just makes the time you have together even more treasured. Fab pics.

Oh love the climbing frame, boys love love love climbing! Also love the picnic with special friends, magical times to have and sometimes its the simple pleasures that make us remember what we are about and what we like.

I hope you have a beautiful and blessed week ahead.

It's always good to see children having fun together. And friendships that survive across a distance are the strongest. I am glad you had a good week. I hope to see yuou again with my happy thoughts for the week. Kate x

Your son is going to have so many hours of wonderful play on the side and swings! Sounds like you had a week full of smiles.

Thanks you so much for my ATC. I love it! The colours are so nice and cheery and vivid...the wee flower for the O is brilliant!

A lovely post!! My best friend moved to America when she fell in love and married an American and the half way mark is still a long way away. Thank goodness for Skype, but it isn't the same as seeing her in person.
