WOYWW 549

Welcome back to my blog for the Wednesday blog hop around our crafting community courtesy of Julia (her blog has all the details)
My desk is looking a little more chaotic than normal as I have been working on getting my bullet journal/daily journal up to date and adding penwork and stickers - just photos needed to finish it off.  On my desk you can see little stickers (lots), some Christmas papers and stickers, my journal, a mug of tea and various pens and my little pencil case. There is also a Christmas card at the back from a crafting workshop I attended with my Girls Night Out group from church last week.
14 of us met in the church lounge to create one card from a pack that Sue had put together - needless to say we all went our own way with some following the design exactly, but others doing something different
This is the picture of all the cards together (the one on top right is the original design)
I thought that I would also share the other crafting desk in our house - this is Alex's desk.  At the moment, he is having fun drawing cartoons, using some of Gran's colouring pencils which is lovely. He tends to draw in the last hour before bedtime as a way of calming down.
Finally, Alex and I popped into town at the weekend to sample the delights of the Christmas Market (Bratwurst and donuts) and here is a photo of Alex in front of Santa!
Have a wonderful week everyone,
With love & God Bless,
Caro

That is a big big Father Christmas, an he looks rather laid back - must have his toys all sorted to be relaxing like that.
A lovely array of crds for us to delight in, I do like the design and the way you have played about with it and done them so differently. Your desk looks awfully busy, busier than normal with all the things needed for your journal. Hope you are getting it nearer completion.
Are you doing any preaching over Christmas? Just wondering how on earth you fit it all in, the preparation must take you such a long time and you are busy with family and things.
Take care
God Bless

I've had to finish two more Memory bears this morning before I could check out my favourite blogs so I'm a little later visiting today.
I really can't get over just how grown up Alex is now. It's a lovely photo of him with the Santa.

All the cards look great - and much better that they're not all the same! I love your bullet journal with the little stickers - I wish I had better hand writing - I still can't stand my own handwriting! Alex is definitely talented and he's growing up so fast! Soon he will be a teenager and they change so much at that age. Have a lovely week, Caro! zsuzsa #19

What fun, getting together with friends, and to make cards! The bratwurst and donuts sound great. Is Alex drawing in a bullet journal too? What a great habit to nurture the budding artist!

Happy Wednesday!

Hectic day yesterday helping Tilly and tea for Ben. Today dashing around voting and posting parcels - long queues! Alex is looking so grown up - I love the idea of colouring cartoons as a wind down- almost as good as me with my knitting! xx Jo

What a lovely display of cards, Caro, and interesting to see the different interpretations of the initial design. It sounds a really fun session! Your desk looks busy and interesting too. Thank you for your visit and I'm sorry to be so long replying. It's been a really busy week, getting the Tudor gown finished in time. Saturday was a very long day but a brilliant one, culminating in the event itself, and I've had to rest since then in order to recover! Now a lot of catching up to do... Hopefully I'll get a post up tomorrow with more news.

Happy very belated WOYWW and God bless,
