Alex is being so sweet at the moment. He is in a really cuddly mood and runs up to me or Tim saying 'Hello Mummy' or 'Hello Daddy' and then saying 'Can I have cuddle please'. He especially likes big squeezy hugs which is lovely. No complaints from me! Don't you just love those amazing blue eyes? His language is continuing to improve and we have so much fun with different imaginative games, although anything to do with cars or trains is favourite. Crafting wise I have made several cards this week. This card was for my boss's birthday and followed the Sketch and stash challenge for this week. The majority of elements on the card were freebies from magazines, or gifts from people that have sat in my stash for ages. The only new thing was the peel offs. The next card is for my bridesmaid and followed the Sketch Saturday sketch and used K&Co papers and dimensional stickers. The final card actually fits with seven different challenges! (1) Daring cardmakers to use mostly white with a hint of another colour (2) Crafty cardmakers to use non traditional Christmas colours (3) This weeks CPS sketch (4) Kaboodle Doodles snowflake challenge (5) SCSC Christmas Tree challenge (6) Spoonful of sugar non traditional colours challenge and (7) Cuttlebug spot Winter theme. Not bad going for one card! I also made a scrapbook layout following Stuck?! Sketches 1st December sketch. This also fits with the theme from Scrap and Stamp which is 'Autumn Traditions'. We don't really have many autumn traditions, but Wet Weather Walks are probably the main one hence this layout. I used Inkadinkado stamps, papers and cardstock from Bazzil and Basic Grey and Alphabet stickers from Creative Imaginations. The journalling reads 'Alex was quite happy to play in the park during a torrential downpour while Mummy hid under the trees!'. I would love to know what you all think of my crafting. I'm off to London for work tomorrow so not sure when I will next get the chance to craft. Have a nice rest of the week everyone.
Love,
Caro
