Spots

Poor Alex, not only is he a spotty wonder, but he is thoroughly bored of being at home with Daddy all day and he doesn’t understand why he can’t go to nursery or see friends. That said, he hasn’t been too bad with the chicken pox, thank goodness. The itching has been comparatively minor and he keeps telling us that he has ‘lots of spots’ in a slightly surprised manner. He isn’t sleeping well due to a combination of a nasty cough that wakes him and itchiness when he wakes making it hard for him to get back to sleep. This means he is more tired than usual and inclined to cry at the slightest thing bless him. The majority of spots have scabbed over now so hopefully he can go back to nursery tomorrow which will please him.
I have had very little time for crafting this week, although I did manage to get all my Christmas cards written and posted. The one piece of crafting was this scrapbook layout of Christmas 1982 With a photograph of myself and my cousins staring up at the Christmas tree. The layout is based on this weeks sketch from pencil lines, and follows the theme of Christmas carol/song from CCC with the title being ‘Oh Christmas Tree’, and of Christmas foliage from My Time To Craft (trees and holly). The journaling reads ‘Christmas was usually spent with our cousins, Harry & Archie Massey. They usually came to our house from Christmas Eve until 27th Dec. We all had so much fun playing together'. I will also use this for the latest Quirky Crafts challenge. I would love to know what you think. Have a great weekend.
Love,
Caro
