Sunny Summers Day

For once we actually had some sun today so we made the most of it by heading out to Endcliff park and going for a lovely walk by the stream and duck ponds. As is fairly typical, Alex fell asleep within 10 minutes of getting into the park, but Tim and I had a wonderfully relaxing time topped off with very large sandwiches from a local shop and the most yummy homemade dairy icecreams which we ate sat on a tree stump near the stream.
I also managed to complete another scrapbook layout this afternoon based on the Pencil Lines sketch#37 by Andrea Gomoll. It is a great sketch and I felt it was really appropriate for this lovely photo of Alex and Tim. The title of this page is 'Milk Please' and the journalling reads 'When Alex was very small we used to see whether he was hungry by placing him in front of Tim's nose. If he sucked his Daddy's nose we decided he needed feeding (April 2007)'. The green colour scheme was chosen as it is Tim's favourite colour.
I also received a wonderful ATC today from Doreen (Momiji) from CM&PC forum entitled 'C for Caro' I love the chipboard letter with the glitter and ribbon as well as the beautifully subtle background. Must dash now and feed my boy. More tomorrow.

Love,
Caro
